| 2025-2026 President's Message Helen Casale, Esquire |
As matrimonial lawyers, we must not only apply legal principles with precision but also navigate the deeply personal and often sensitive circumstances our clients face. The AAML—both nationally and within our Chapter—is made up of some of the finest attorneys in the field, each able to masterfully balance these sometimes opposing skill sets.
As AAML Pennsyvlania Fellows, we carry a profound responsibility: to safeguard the rights, interests, and well-being of those we represent, while upholding the dignity of all parties involved. This requires a balanced approach—firm in advocacy, yet guided by fairness and respect. It is a true honor and privilege to serve as President of an organization that holds itself to such a high standard of excellence.
Our Fellows have made it clear—what sets the AAML apart is our commitment to excellence. Under my leadership, we remain committed to advancing the practice of matrimonial law through continuous professional development, adherence to the highest ethical standards, and active engagement in legislative and judicial developments. We recognize that the outcomes we achieve have lasting impacts on families, and it is our duty to ensure those outcomes are both just and sustainable.
In my term, I intend to strengthen the initiatives that bring the greatest value to our Chapter—elevated CLEs, robust networking opportunities, and the cross-state symposium. I will also focus on fostering the collegiality of the family law bar. We are a close-knit community. As a member of the AAML we have a duty to pass down our knowledge and expertise to those just starting out and to show these younger attorneys the importance of communication and respect.
I extend my appreciation to my fellow Academy members for their dedication to excellence in this vital area of practice. Together, we will continue to strengthen the profession and serve the public with integrity, diligence, and compassion.
